Our prince turned 2 last week!

He fell sick, down with runny nose and follow by cough. Poor little boy! But he still as energetic as before.

We had a Barney theme (he chose it) for the birthday party with only family members. Will upload the pictures soon!

Found Kindermusik in neighbourhood and brought him there for trial on Saturday. He seems to enjoy himself, and will try another trial this Saturday and then decide whether to go ahead with it.

Our prince is always so vocal, and now he's even better. He will ask questions such as "what happen?", "where _____ go?" , althought all not in proper English as in complete sentence but at least he ask! Example like yesterday my maid is cleaning the floor with ants, our prince follow behind his Daddy and then walk towards my maid and ask "What Happen?".. haha.. we are stunned and laughed when we heard that.

He will asked me, his Daddy, his Ah Yi etc.. "Where's Daddy?", "Where's Mummy?", "Where birds go?", "Ants go where?".. haha and when you asked him back he will answer you with _____ go home, shopping, sleep etc.. haha.

And this morning he watching Dibo so i told him that's call "Snow" (in the show), and he reply me "Titus like Snow".. hehe. Even if other kids learnt to say it long before him but that's his first express to me that what he like. And he follow on telling his PoPo "Titus like Caillou".. it just simply make us smile =)

Our little prince finally had his potty trained!

His PoPo did train him months ago for a while but he doesnt seems to really understand and in expressing. And during that time i've read Supernanny and Jo Frost mentioned that the best time for potty train is about 2.5 to 3 yrs old where they can really understand the meaning behind it and better in control their bowels systems.

But 2 weeks ago, PoPo trained him again. She bought his 1st underwear and tell him to inform "Shee Shee" (to pee) and "En En" (to shit). And PoPo make sure we do that to him when back at home also. So we did follow.. and it works! Although there's a couple of times he forgot and just pee out, but most of the times he will express. He will say "En En" be it peeing or shitting but he will cover either his front or back. So if he say "En En" by covering his front meaning he wanna pee, and vice versa.

Although he dont say "Shee Shee" now but im pretty happy with his progress.. at least he got potty trained before he turn 2!!!

Last update is beginning of August.. thats nearly 2 months ago issue.

Our little prince is now 23 month old. He will be entering the Terrible Two stage in 1 week 2 days time!

Time really flies.. our little prince just passed the stages like this. From birth, turn over, crawl, sit, first word, first tooth, kick ball, turn 1, walk, run, dance, school, sing, talk more.. all these seems just happen yesterday! Cant wait for him to grow.. but will also miss the period during in my tummy till now.

In these 2 months, he talk more. He now will say "I know _____" or "I saw _____" for example when we walk back home at night he will always look into the sky and say "Moon! I know Moon!" or "Star! I know Star!" haha.. as if he know alot of things.

Not only that, when he take something from us he will say it belong to him! That night he took money from my wallet and i asked him "Titus why did you take money from mummy's wallet?" And he actually answer me "Titus's money". Even last night he took my mum's coin, and when asked him whose money is that he told us "Titus's money" haha.. dont know whether to laugh at his answer or to be angry.

He is a bigger boy now. He is a Gor Gor in our family now, as he got Di Di Skyler. He seems to sayang him and will even tell my sis "Ah yi.. Di Di cry." and ask my sis to go see his son.. haha. We train him that to make he feel that he have this responsibility as a Gor Gor to look after Di Di. And even when i have next child he will do that also. He will sayang Di Di when he cry or once a while wanna give him something to make him stop crying. But what he cant is that i carry Di Di.. haha. And this sometime happen to my mum and my hubby also. We will asked him then who carry Di Di and he will reply "Ah yi".. haha.

Sometimes, we really wonder did he really understand our questions or just coincidence? One evening, my mum wanna feed our little prince noodle, he told my mum "Dont want thank you" then mum asked him "If you dont wanna eat then what you want to eat later?" Guess what he reply??? He actually really answer my mum "Eat biscuits!" Haha.. so.. did he really understand the questions or he dont?

Our little prince finally SING! He used to dance but not sing, the most is he will say the last word of each sentence in Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. But now he learn to sing "Wa Men Ti" from the Taiwan Drama "Ai". Although is only a few words and in monotone but we still have a good laugh from there.

Our little prince is 21 month old now, in fact turning 22 months tomorrow!

Been busy and maybe lazy to upload pictures and write blogs.. thats why wait till now then update something about him.

He had stop attending Kinderland and had attend LNT for 4th lesson. Doing not bad as in term of memory game. Teacher had gave them picture to see for seconds, and ask them to place in sequence. Im quite surprise that our little prince able to do so.. hehe.

July, he had a little achievement which im pretty happy of and that is saying numbers 1 to 10. Although other kids might have excel earlier than him as in 20 month old, but im happy because usually we teach him he simply dont wanna pay attention. Not only that.. when you ask him to say he simply throw tantrums or just walk away. But that particular day when im in bathroom and he standing outside crying for me to come out.. i've asked him to count 1 to 10 and i will be out. So his Daddy start the ball rolling by saying 1.. and he continue the rest!

We are quite surprise when we heard that.. and this show that he did listen what we say all these while just that he have his own "character" by keeping all to himself.. haha.

Now he is a Gor Gor.. as his cousin Skyler is born on 19th July 2010. Our little prince will sayang Skyler as in wanna stroke him with hand and wanna kiss him. But one thing is that he dont want me to carry Skyler. Whenever i do so, he will say "Mummy.. carry Titus".. haha. Just hope after sometime he will get use to it and will love his little cousin more!

Our little prince turn 20 months last week.

For the past one month, he learn more things and willing to speak in 2 words together such as.. give me, i take, open door etc.

In the past when we teach him to address Uncle and Aunty he will always end up with "Ge Ge" and "Ti Ti" as what i wrote in previous post. Or even till the extend of calling "Aunt Ti Ti".. haha. But now.. no longer! Our prince will address them properly as Uncle and Aunty!

Whenever he hungry or thirsty, he will request for milk or even biscuits and even WATER! Yes.. thats right.. WATER!!! Why am i surprise or even happy about it? Other kids might do so, but not my little prince. He never like water and my mum always having hard time in luring him to drink water.. haha. But recently, he will request to drink water be it from his Barney waterbottle or from cup.

Now he will keep saying his name whenever he wanna do something. Such as on / off the light, remove his pacifier cover, hold his own milk bottle, hold his cupwhen drinking water, put / change the disc in the DVD Player, open / close the door and more.. he will just say "Titus" and point at himself to tell us to let him do it.

Although there's alot more for him to learn, and compare to others he might be slower in learning certain things but we are still proud of him! With the above progress he shown already make us happy, but of course as a mother.. who dont want more from our kids? Hehe..

Hohoho.. our little prince turn 19 month last week.

Finally complete all compulsory vaccine but then start another "good to have" vaccine yesterday which also the last one till his Primary School life - Hep A. Two dose in total.. one yesterday another one will be 6 months later. When he having his 2nd dose of Hep A.. he will be 25 months.. isnt tat fast!

Had attend few weeks of classes, seems can slightly concentrate more.. although slightly but better than din concentrate at all. He now able to sit in classes especially when teachers sing songs or play some games. Good progress and hope he can be better than now.

Learn more things each month, although compare to others he might not that clever in term of studying but his Daddy and myself are happy with his progress so far. Of course, i still hope that he can do better.. hehe. Kiasu Mummy!

Our little prince is 18 month now and in a couple of weeks time he will be 19 month.

We start to train him to sleep on his own. We bought one Toodler Bed from Lucky Baby and shift our bed a bit to the other end so we can place his bed beside me (on the floor). Thanks for Hubby's Xiao Yi we able to get it at discounted price.

Our prince been sleeping with us since around 3 months till beginning of this month.. its been a long period of 15 months. First 2 days felt "weird".. kinda miss him sleeping beside me. Now better.. but still worried.. will still wake up on and off to see whether is he under blanket.

In the beginning worried that he cant adapt to it and dont like it. But it turn out differently, he like it and even "invite" me and his Daddy to sit on bed with him.. hehe.

Our prince grown up and know more things as days passed by. He will request to go to bed after he tired of playing or studying at night by telling me "bed bed" and pull me to my room. He will turn around and look at me tell me "milk milk" when he wanna drink. He will request to eat bread by pull anyone available to kitchen and take the bread.

Now he request to eat whatever we eat. Especially when dinner at my mum's place, when you give him just rice only he will shake his head and start to point to this dish to be serve and next dish for next mouth.. hehe. Kinda cute..

He started to attend pre-school classes at Kinderland (Civic Centre) since last Saturday (10th Apr 10). He will attend Chinese class on Saturday and English class on Sunday. My purpose is to let him explore and learn whatever he can in class. But i will stress him too much on the classes, just hope he can enjoy himself.

Our little prince turn 17 month and soon will be 18 month.

He learned more words.. n talk alot.. extremely alot in his language to us.

I've been trying to teach him more words.. but he simply cant sit still.. and cant sit long. This morning i put him in his cot and make him read his own book.. make some noise in e beginning but did open up his book after a while. But not long.. seems only 5 mins.. haha. I wont give up.. and will continue to train him like this =p

Our little prince is going school soon..

Been wanting to have him enrol in some classes rather than staying at home where he spend most of his time watching Barney and Hi-Five. Called.. made some enquiries.. and found one at Woodlands. Pre-nursery for him.. but is weekend class. Doesnt matter.. i will accompany him as long he enjoy and learn something from there.

Previously blogged on a Pooh Bear bag that we bought for him. He love it and always carry with him. When we asked him whether he wanna go school.. he smile at you and nod. My dear sis blogged on that also.. hehe.

The night before he din sleep after milk, and keep sit up and start talking. So i asked him "Do you wanna go school tomorrow?" he will nod.. and when i told him if he want to.. then have to sleep now. And he quickly lie on his pillow with his bolster in hand.. hehe. And in the morning.. been calling his name to wake him up. But seems not much movement till i asked him whether wanna go school.. then he quickly sit up.. haha.

Brought him there to view the class environment and see how teacher conduct the lesson. He seems a bit scared.. keep hug me tight afraid that i will let him down. But after some time.. he more relax and will even clap along with the songs. Going to sign the class for him soon.. and hope he wil enjoy by then.
